The Word of God for the RCCG is that He is taking us to the Next Level! See Ephesians 3 verse 20.
For the prophecy given by the Lord to the General Overseer for 2008 see http://www.rccg.org/
“And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward and bear fruit upward.” Isaiah 37:31 (KJV)
Thank God for the month of enlargement. But the LORD is inviting us to come up higher. He wants us to be fully established in His will. We know more about His will for our lives as we seek Him with all our hearts and dig deeper into His Word of life- the Bible.
It is time to get rooted and established in the LORD so we can be fruitful in all areas of our lives. A tree gets its nourishment and energy from its roots. In the same way, if we want to be fruitful, we must constantly depend on the LORD for His divine guidance and establishment.
No wonder the LORD emphatically states in John 15 verse 5
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (NIV)
How deep are your roots? Who is your source of success and fruitfulness? True fruitfulness and enduring establishment comes from Christ. May we draw closer to the LORD this month and be established in His purposes for our lives. Only then shall we experience true fruitfulness and lasting success that brings glory and praise to the LORD.
“…This place is too small for us; give us more space to live in.” Isaiah 49 v 20 (NIV)
October 2007 has been declared the month of enlargement. It is time to arise and reach out for new heights and opportunities in all areas of our lives. It does not matter how far we have come, there are still new grounds to cover. To experience enlargement, we must:
-
be willing and obedient (Isaiah 1 verse 19),
-
expect and desire the move of God in our lives and;
-
be prepared. Isaiah 54 verses 2 and 3 encourages us to prepare for enlargement.
We must also trust God for capacity to be able to handle His abundant blessings, in order that they do not overwhelm us. See the example of Peter in Luke 5 verses 1 to 11. Finally, let us receive God’s grace so we can enter into the open doors, He has prepared for us this month. Faithful is He who has called us and He will do it in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Find out more about how to expand your coast as you join us for our services this month. God bless you as you come.
