Prayer

"...men always ought to pray and not lose heart." Luke 18 v 1 (KJV)

Prayer plays a key part of the life of the church. Everyone is encouraged to pray and we run a weekly programme called the School of Prayer which holds every Sunday at 9.30 am before the main service. We also hold a mid-week prayer group known as the Daniel Prayer Company.

 

The School of Prayer

One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples." Luke 11 v 1 (NIV)

Daniel Prayer Company

“Then these men went as a group and found Daniel praying and asking God for help.” Daniel 6 v 11 (NIV)

Every Wednesday, the Daniel Prayer Company gathers for prayers. They pray for the well being of the city and community.
